Jack FM Animations
illustration, character design, animation
This project has been the brain-child of Adam Sprenger, Program Director for one of the most successful Minneapolis radio stations, Jack-FM. The goal of each animation is to make an announcement about the happenings at Jack-FM. The animation brings both talent stars from Jack-FM to life in a 2-D digital format. Remy Maxwell, the rugged-biker-dude who does what he wants and Biggie, the little wild child.
"Make an animation to promote upcoming events"
To best represent the JACK-FM of Minneapolis, Minnesota, it's necessary to put the talent in the spotlight. Remy Maxwell is a Minneapolis, Minnesota icon when it comes to the radio industry. His voice, his tactics and his endorsements are of the most successful. JACK-FM & Remy Maxwell couldn't be a better pair. Remy's sidekick, Biggie, serves as the "man who will do anything." He is the comedic relief of the series.
These three video animations were made during the year of 2016 to promote three different occasions. The first video aired live at the Moondance Jam Festival in front of thousands of guests. The second video is about the legacy of Prince and JACK-FM's Minnesota State Fair feature of his life in memory. It features the Prince's DJ, a Prince mural artist and Biggie as a true fan. The third video is a bike giveaway in partnership with Zylstra Harley-Davidson.
